  • Shipping & Delivery
  • Shipping & Delivery Times: Unless specified otherwise, most standard orders are shipped in 1 to 2 business days, Monday through Wednesday and Thursday only for Florida shipments. Custom orders or made to order items require more time before shipping. We do not ship on Thursday and Friday (unless your purchase will arrive before the weekend based on your shipping selection) because we do not want your chocolates to sit in a non-air conditioned warehouse over the weekend and melt. West coast orders always ship on Monday unless you select an upgraded express shipping method. Sometimes very large orders, custom orders and bakery orders may require more time to prepare and ship (especially during holidays). We will contact you if there is any delay in shipping your order.

    3 Sisters Chocolate primarily uses FedEx to provide our shipping services. Shipping costs are dependent on the weight of the item, the destination and how fast you need delivery. Generally, FedEx Home Delivery is the least expensive and delivery is made in 2-3 days, except for the West Coast, which is typically 4 days. Of course, you have the option of selecting expedited shipping services. Please refer to the FedEx shipping map below to see "typical" FedEx ground ship days from 3 Sisters Chocolate (zip code 32223). In our day-to-day experience, the Florida and Georgia areas color-coded as 1 day for ground delivery are usually delivered in 1 day (probably 90+% of the time.) Please note that FedEx does not guarantee ground delivery estimates. The only way to guarantee a shipping duration with FedEx is to select an express method such as overnight or 2-day express.

    Local Delivery: Rates quoted are for Monday through Friday delivery and include 1 delivery attempt. Additional charges apply to weekend delivery. Please note that we do not leave delivery packages unattended during hot weather (over 75 degrees F); these packages are returned to our retail store location if no one is available to accept the package. You may have a returned package picked-up at our store at no cost or you may pay another delivery fee. Please note that baked items are perishable and we are not responsible for "re-baking" new product because the delivery recipient was not available to accept the package.

    Strawberries: You must select a shipping method that will have your strawberries in 1 day. The reason is that strawberries start to leak through the chocolate after 24 hours. If you do not select a shipping method that has your strawberries delivered in 1 day, the order will be cancelled and refunded.

    Hot Weather Shipping: Signature is required for hot weather shipping. If you are not available to sign, then we cannot warrant the product against melting. In hot weather months we include ice packs in your package at no additional charge; however, you must select a shipping option that will allow delivery of your package within 1 day. The ice packs will generally remain frozen for 1 day and you may reuse them for other purposes. We recommend that you select a delivery destination which is air conditioned, where someone can accept your package. FedEx will leave packages on your porch if no one is home. In temperatures above 75 degrees this could damage your chocolates which we cannot accept responsibility. In the hot, summer months, we only ship orders if FedEx estimates you will receive your order by Friday; otherwise, orders are shipped on Monday (unless you select overnight shipping). Again, we do not want your delectable chocolates sitting in a hot warehouse all weekend.     At this time, 3 Sisters Chocolate ships merchandise to locations within the United States and U.S. territories, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands.

  • Sales Tax
  • 3 Sisters Chocolate charges sales tax for merchandise ordered on this Web site based on the applicable state sales tax rate and shipped to any location in Florida. This practice is consistent with the State of Florida Sales Tax laws.

  • We want you to enjoy your purchase and your satisfaction is our 1st priority. 3 Sisters Chocolate stands behind the quality and value of all our products. We understand that you have many options when purchasing products and believe that if enjoy your experience with us that you may visit again.

    All of our products are backed with our 100% no-hassle, satisfaction guarantee. After receiving your items, you have 7 days to decide if you want to make a return. Within those 7 days, if you decide to return any of your items, please just send us a notification email or call our main store (904.262.9122) and return the unused portion to us. We will refund your purchase price or exchange it for a different item (your choice).  If more than 25% of the product(s) is not returned, then we will prorate your refund based on the amount of product returned.
