If you can’t decide between a traditional and non-traditional wedding cake, this three-tiered beauty could be the answer to your prayers. The traditional tiered style and ivory color are given a non-traditional twist with the square shaped layers. Each square layer is covered in scrumptious ivory-tinted buttercream and is highlighted with hand-piped flowers in the same ivory buttercream.

The base of each layer is adorned with a sheer gold ribbon matching the bride’s wedding colors and a few phaleonopsis orchids are strategically placed on and around the wedding cake. The crowning touch is a traditional bride and groom wedding topper.

To make this wedding cake reflect your own personal style you might choose different colors or a different color and style of ribbon. You could also choose to top your wedding cake in fresh or silk flowers of your choice or a monogrammed wedding cake topper. This wedding cake may also be recreated in fondant to acheive an almost identical look.
