The classic black, white and red color combination of this beautifully simple wedding cake would be perfect for Valentine’s Day nuptials. The base of each of the three white fondant covered tiers is wrapped with black satin ribbon. Each tier is then accented with clusters of hand piped white royal icing dots. For that punch of color, red roses are tucked into the sides of each layer and a small bouquet tops the wedding cake.
You may customize this wedding cake to suit your personal style by adding or subtracting layers, choosing alternating shapes for the layers (square, round, square), choosing different ribbon colors or choosing different flowers.
